Eliza Reign is just a fresh name for this band. Gabriel and Ben, the two guitarists, kicked the whole process off themselves. They have known each other their whole lives, and ever since they could, they have been playing guitar together. In 2005 the two decided that they wanted to start a band, and two weeks later they had Guy, their keyboardist. After Guy joined, two Bass players came and went, one reluctantly, and in 2008 they found Juan as their drummer. Then Tyler Auditioned for the bass. Yeah I know, Tyler is the drummer, but he auditioned to be the bass player. Also, at the audition Tyler was saying how he was thinking of starting the drums. Coincidentally, their bass player came back around the same day and Boom Tyler took to the drums, Juan moved to vocals and Proven Under was formed.
A few of the venues they played at are: Java Junction, Java Jazz, Crazy Frogs, Fitzgeralds, The Merridian, The Jet Lounge and The Pitt. But do to the fact that Juan was a total and complete ass, Proven Under kicked him out of the band. Black Matt then left and it was down to Gabe, Ben, Guy, and Tyler. A new beginning is something that everyone needs a chance for, and that is what they had here. A chance to work on their music, and find new members. (continued above) |
In 2011, Proven Under became Eliza Reign and they found Tony and Tony brought Hunter. As Eliza Reign they only played at Warehouse Live. Most of you know this story now. But in brief, they came, they saw, they recorded, and them wanting to get rich and famous right then and there, left. Bands don't pop up over night, and when they do they are pretty much gone the next. But before they left, they did record some awesome songs, and we found our background vocals, Jordan in 2012.
So now we are working on songs and working on finding new, more mature members who have ideas that shape to our sound. Preferably someone with a job and or transportation and equipment. We need a bassist (not a guitarist) who can pick up on our songs quickly and that we do not have to teach. We need a vocalist who can have different screams and singing. We do not want to have sides in Eliza Reign. We do not believe in crying to other members, and there are no more relationships within the band, because then no one has their own opinions. We want this band to be the one thing in our lives that is stress free and does not seem like a job. |
